Kookaburra
3 Year Old Kindergarten

With an understanding of the proven benefits of children attending two years of funded Kindergarten before school we are proud to offer two three-year-old kindergarten rooms that offer an integrated long day care and Kinder program.
Our Kinder program runs between 8.30am and 3pm from Monday to Friday over the school terms. On the school holidays our teachers are on annual leave, and the room is run by a Diploma trained educator in the room.
Our Wombat and Kookaburra rooms accommodate up to 18 children, with a consistent team of experienced educators in each classroom. The Kindergarten teacher in each classroom hold a minimum of their Bachelor of Education, and support team are qualified Early Childhood Educators.

The Wombat and Kookaburra programs are informed by the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework, as well as other early childhood theories of learning and development such as Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences theory, Bronfenbrenner and the Reggio Emilia approach. These influences create a holistic program that gives every child a chance to learn, be successful and achieve their fullest potential during the Kindergarten year.
